Kuji offers programs in a wide variety of areas. Our main objective is to help communties empower themselves. To this end, we partner with local organizations in different locations and attempt to implement programs that will allow communities to achieve a greater degree of self determination.
Kuji was founded in Morgan City, Louisiana and that remains the base of operations and site of several Kuji programs. However, Kuji as also opened offices and initiated projects in Tanzania and Ghana. Our programs cover a wide range of issues and are selected based primarily on the needs of the particular communities in which we are located. At Kuji, we do not limit ourselves to certain types of work because we do not see ourselves as an issue based organization. We believe in Community, and are willing to work on any issue relevant to the growth and development of strong, self sustaining communities.
